Autumn Printmaking workshops 2021
The Ropewalk Print workshop is hosting a group of Saturday printmaking workshops that are suitable for the beginner and experienced printmaker alike. These workshops will be led by experienced artist/printmakers and are limited to 6 people. If you are creative and you want to learn new skills and approaches to make original artists prints and extend the range of your creativity then these are for you ,Or even give one as a unique gift . Electro-Etch Workshop with Martin Maywood £60
10.00am – 4.00pm.
Learn how to make etchings on copper plates without the use of acids. No nasty fumes either. Electro-etching is perfectly safe and can be done with a few simple pieces of inexpensive equipment and an AA battery. Electro-etch gives a precise “bite” and a beautiful crisp line, It is also an alternative safe aquatint when using spray paint instead of the traditional resin aquatint. Lunch is not included in the cost of our workshops, however the Ropery coffee shop offers a delicious range of daily specials and homemade cakes and refreshments (which you can pre-order) or please bring a packed lunch.
All Classes / workshops must be booked and paid for in full in advance. Payments will not be refunded if a cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the workshop/class. Cancellations made before this 7-day period will be due a refund less a £5 booking fee.
