We have been Running professional workshops and bespoke workshops for over 20 years. supporting artists and the creative community.
Since opening in 2000 Tim Needham’s intention has been to bring the benefits of an open access printmaking studio to Barton on Humber and the Humber region, there was nothing remotely available at the time. Along with other directors they set up Ropewalk Contemporary Art and Craft. Over those years Printmaking was able to feature in workshops and exhibitions and contribute to the culture and community in a new and dynamic way.
The Ropewalk continues to support printmakers and printmaking through its gallery programme and shop sales, but it is separate to the ropewalk print workshop and will not be able to take bookings for the ropewalk print workshop courses.
